The plight of homeless and unwanted animals is an issue that I feel needs to be addressed. Therefore I have created a web page that is specifically geared towards those animals that are looking for their “forever” home. JoyCares has provided me with an avenue to help care for animals that might need a little help getting adjusted the their new “forever” home OR for people who thought about adopting an animal but did not know how to fit one into their already hectic lifestyle. Adopting an animal from a shelter takes a lot of love and commitment to help better the life of an animal that didn’t have too great of a start to begin with. Here at JoyCares we are there 100% to help you and your newly adopted pet begin your new life together. JoyCares wants to help you and your newly adopted pet by providing a 20% discount on your pet care bill for ANY animal that is adopted from ANY shelter. Just provide proof of adoption given to you for your new pet by the shelter that you have adopted from and we take it from there!!!!! Polly is a sweet 1 1/2 year old female Chow mix. She is one of the friendliest dogs we have had in a while. She is always smiling and wagging her tail. She is housebroke and seems to be OK with some other dogs. She enjoys walking and snuggling with people and would be a lap dog if allowed. She would make a great addition to any family. BIGGELSOWRTH Mr. Bigglesworth is about 5 years and was surrendered to us because he couldn't adjust to the young kids. He MUST be the only pet in the house & needs to have tons of attention. He is super sweet & purrs loudly when happy, especially when snuggled up next to you in bed. He would do best in a home with someone home the majority of the day who has patience to deal with occasional litter box accidents. Snaggletooth is an endearing sort of goofball-- he is funny and outgoing, always out and about, a little goofy-looking, but a friendly soul looking for just the right place to hang his hat! He has tough-guy looks, but don't let that fool you, because this amiable fella is friendly as can be. Snaggletooth is really tired of being in his cage and dearly wants a home he can call his own. If you’re looking for personality rather than beauty, please come and visit with our Snaggletooth! Avril Poor little Avril, she has been waiting sooo long for her forever new home, yet people keep passing by this gorgeous, flashy, sweet little calico. Avril who loves to be petted and is quite the little chatterbox! She is a little unsure of the shelter right now, so she would like to move into a quiet home as soon as possible where she will get lots of reassurance and lots of hugs. Avril is cute as a button and is desperately seeking a new human buddy. Jan. ‘05 update: We really wish someone would give this gal a chance--she is so sweet when she is in her cage, rolling over for belly rubs and purring away. Poor Avril is a little frightened of the shelter surroundings and desperately needs to be in a quiet home where she feels safe. This beautiful, loving little classic calico is tired of being cooped up and wants a human buddy to love and a place where she can relax.
